This is a fantastic treatment for relieving tension, tightness and stiffness, nerve pain, slipped discs, sciatica and back and joint pain.​
 

​External Basti is a unique treatment using medicated, herbal therapeutic oil which is held and localised over a target site of the body with the use of a dough dam.
 

Before applying the basti, the client receives a massage to prepare the tissues and to allow the nervous system to enter into a healing state.
 

The oil is kept comfortably hot so that it can penetrate through the skin and into the deeper tissues of fascia, adipose, muscle, ligaments, tendons and even bones and nerves.​
 

For best pain relief and therapeutic benefit, a series of 3 or 5 treatments is recommended.
